This year we are celebrating IUSTI
Europe's 100th birthday and for this special occasion, we are taking a
step back in time to the 1920s.
Especially opening its doors to IUSTI Congress participants for this event, Casino Maltese is a private members' club in Valletta. The Club offers has the advantage of being based in Malta's capital and boasts selection of elegant rooms and facilities. The Club is hosted in a historic building with sumptuous architectural features, in the centre of Valletta with balconies enjoying views over both St George's Square and Republic Square.
The networking event will include:

Angela Vella Zarb
Angela Vella Zarb is a Maltese jazz singer, active
since 2009. She sings professionally as a soloist on the jazz circuit,
and with Swing Nuages (gypsy-jazz band; performed at Teatru Unplugged 2016),
and Blue Tangerine - a brazilian-contemporary ensemble; performed at the Malta
Jazz Festival in 2016, 2018 and 2022, and regularly in Paris (FR) at venues
including the Sunset-Sunside, Studio de l’Ermitage, and Le 360 Music Factory.
Angela released a full-length album with Blue Tangerine (self-titled) in 2019
under the label Klarthe Records. She has also recorded guest vocals for
contemporary jazz-rock bands The Ranch (2015) and The Plakard Project (2018).
In 2020 Angela was invited to perform at the Italian Cultural Institute in
Vienna with her jazz trio. She released her debut album as a jazz soloist,
titled Funny Face, in 2022.

Undine LaVerve
Undine LaVerve, “the sin-sational siren of the Undine LaVerve, 'The Sin-sational Siren of the Mediterranean” is Malta’s very own burlesque performer. With 10 years of performance experience, 8 of which internationally, she has travelled far and wide with her acts representing Malta. She is Malta's burlesque pioneer – she has started the burlesque movement on the island, where there was none before. She is the headmisstress of BAM – the Burlesque Academy of Malta and producer of shows such as Maltease. She brings originality, artistic stage presence, fierce dance moves and a spark to stages across the world.

Rafael Pimienta
Meet Rafael Pimienta, a remarkable dancer renowned for his captivating performances across the picturesque Maltese islands since his arrival in 2018. His journey began when he left his native country in pursuit of his deep-seated passion for the art of dance, which has become the driving force behind his presence and influence in Malta.
Hailing from Colombia, his dance style is infused with the vibrant essence of Latin Dances, Jazz, and the signature genre that has come to define him – Heels Technique. This distinctive style has graced various Maltese television shows, including this year's Brillanti Dance, where he reached the semi-finals and the 2020 edition of Malta's Got Talent, as well as numerous other productions that have adorned this splendid island. Rafael's performances are characterized by an abundance of energy, leaving audiences enamoured with his captivating moves that are bound to evoke a genuine smile.

Olivia Lilith
Meet Olivia Lilith, a local drag sensation who lives and breathes for the world of entertainment and cultural arts. Through the transformative art of drag, she discovered an incredible power - the power to shatter barriers and ignite the flames of self-acceptance and self-expression.
Olivia believes that each of us is a performer in our own unique way, and she passionately encourages everyone to embrace their authenticity.
